Ambassadors beginning road blitz March 21

Ambassadors of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce are on a road blitz beginning March 21, calling on area businesses to deliver information about the chamber.

Road Blitz visits are informative and enjoyable: Kim Esper, membership director at the chamber and coordinator of the program, said ambassadors are the most outgoing, pro-active employees in their company, and their mission is to serve the community, the chamber and its members.

Ambassadors provide membership contact and encourage membership involvement. They welcome and assist members at meetings and events. They visit new businesses to inform them of the benefits of chamber membership.

Perhaps most importantly, ambassadors help members make the connections they need to grow their businesses, and they mentor new and rookie members by offering help and expertise.

“If you’re looking for a convenient, no-pressure opportunity to learn about the benefits of chamber membership, this road blitz is the perfect chance,” Esper said. “If you’re interested in learning more, contact us for a visit during the Road Blitz.”

Businesses can contact Esper at 517.546.3920 or email her at kesper@howell.org  for more information, or to request a visit from the ambassadors during this blitz. Appointments can also be made with Esper before or following the Blitz.
