Barbara Line named LCC Livingston Center coordinator

Lansing Community College, a leader in post-secondary education, (http://www.lcc.edu), today announced the appointment of Barbara Line as Livingston County Center Coordinator.  Line will be responsible for the Livingston Center’s community strategy and outreach, class offerings, and staff and facility management.  Line will report to Lansing Community College’s Director of Extension and Community Education, Nancy Dietrich.

“Barb’s experience in taking a strategic vision and executing that vision will strengthen Lansing Community College’s position as an education leader in Livingston Count,” Dietrich said. “With a proven track record for successfully leading large scale initiatives and driving innovation, Barb’s leadership skills are well suited to lead Lansing Community College’s development efforts as we continue in our mission to inspire students to continue their education.”

Line brings more than 20 years of experience in academic advising, class scheduling, facility management, and community outreach strategy to Lansing Community College. Most recently, Line served as administrator for support services at Lansing Community College, where she was responsible for outreach, facility management, course scheduling, and advising. Prior to Lansing Community College, Line was director of education at Michiana College, where she was responsible for staff, curriculum, and academic advising.

Line received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Eastern Michigan University.
