Comerica promotes VanHevele
Debra VanHevele has been promoted to senior vice president and regional manager for Comerica’s West/Southwest banking center region. VanHevele will be responsible for Comerica Bank’s 34 banking centers in Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Midland, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek.
Since joining Comerica in 1987, VanHevele has held positions of increasing authority in Comerica’s banking centers. She most recently served as vice president and district manager for Comerica’s Lansing/Jackson Banking Center District. She was also president of Comerica’s Lansing region, where she worked closely with the bank’s Business Bank and Wealth Management representatives to ensure Comerica was meeting the needs of its clients and serving the Lansing community.
VanHevele holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and an MBA degree from Baker College. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce, and is one of the founding members of ATHENA WIN and currently serves on its board of directors.
