Detroit bankruptcy focus of Oct. 8 Good Morning Livingston

The October Good Morning Livingston program, “An Insider’s Look at Detroit’s Bankruptcy,” will feature Bill Nowling, the Brighton resident who is communications director for Kevyn Orr, Detroit’s emergency financial manager. Nowling will provide an up-close look at how Detroit’s restructuring is going, and he will be taking questions from the audience.
Nowling is a longtime GOP spokesman and strategist. He’s also served as communications director and spokesman for Gov. Rick Snyder’s campaign and transition teams.
The event begins at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Johnson Center at Cleary University, 3750 Cleary Drive in Howell.
The cost for the event is $20 for members with reservations; $25 for members at the door; and $30 for future and non-members.
