Diversity Council annual event highlighting individual contributions, youth perspectives

The annual membership meeting of the Livingston Diversity Council, which is open to the public, is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Hartland Music Hall, 3619 Avon St. in Hartland.

Three individuals – Buddy Moorehouse, Brian Kruger, and Genivieve Urbaine – will be recognized for their special contributions so the advancement of diversity. The event will also feature a video presentation about diversity as seen through the eyes of Livingston County youth.

Entertainment will be provided by the Hartland High School Choir, and light refreshments will be served.
