Eagles event raising funds on April 18 to help ailing member
The Howell Fraternal Order of Eagles is holding a bake sale, silent auction, spaghetti dinner, live auction and entertainment on Saturday, April 18, for Debbie (aka Beulah) Smith, who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on New Year’s Day. Since the diagnosis, Debbie is no longer able to work.
All activities take place at the Howell Eagles Club, 141 Schroeder Drive in Howell. The bake sale begins at noon and runs until all the baked goods are gone. The silent auction runs 3-7 p.m.
The spaghetti dinner will be served from 4-7 p.m. at a cost of $15 per person, which includes dinner and entertainment by the Targus Band.
The live auction begins at 6:30 p.m. The Targus Band starts playing at 8 p.m. with a $5 cover charge for anyone not attending the dinner.
All proceeds go directly to Debbie Smith and her family.
