Finding Roots in downtown Howell set for opening day May 19
New storefront in downtown Howell is like no other store around. Finding Roots is set to open this Thursday and invites anyone who loves life, trees, bees, plants and other parts of nature to their grand opening on June 17.
“Finding Roots will be like nothing that Howell residents have seen before,” Jarrell said. “Our goal for the business extends far beyond simply selling naturally based products and creations. We hope to bring a sense of community to the downtown area by being a center for creativity, discussion and interaction that is open to all.”
Finding Roots co-owners, Tirzah Sirken and Lisa Jarrell, designed and made most of the displays in the downtown Howell store featuring all things inspired by nature.
Finding Roots will offer classes in beekeeping, herbs and other nature-related topics. It also will have a community room for artists, whom they call “makers,” who create handmade items. Independent instructors will provide hands-on lessons in artistry and education, on how to live a more natural lifestyle, including organic growing, maintaining an apiary, colleting beehives and so much more!
