Friday night hoops benefits Habitat

The Ambassadors Harlem square off against the Hoopsters, a Habitat for Humanity Team, at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the Brighton High School Field House. The night of Harlem-style comedy basketball benefits Livingston County Habitat for Humanity.

Tickets for the evening of high-flying slam dunks, games for the kids and hilarious comedy at $8 in advance, and available at the Habit for Humanity Re-Store at 7198 Grand River Ave. in Brighton, the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce at 123 E. Washington St. in Howell, and LOC Federal Credit Unions.

Tickets at the door are $10, with kids under 3 free.
