Heart of Michigan celebrating three years in downtown Howell

Selling Michigan-made products, the Heart of Michigan store in downtown Howell has been celebrating the Great Lakes state for three years. It will be celebrating this special occasion with a Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 7, featuring discounts, samples, live entertainment, support for a worthy cause and more!

The celebration kicks off at 10 a.m. with 20 percent off all Heart of Michigan products, buy 2-get-one-free ice cream cones and cups, samples of their scrumptious new Michigan Salad and live entertainment.

A generous supporter of many Howell events, The Heart of Michigan won’t let this celebration pass without also bringing attention to those less fortunate. Once again, it is partnering with Gleaners Food Bank to collect non-perishable food items and customers are encouraged to contribute. The first 50 customers who donate 10 or more non-perishable food items will receive a special Heart of Michigan gift bag filled with Michigan-made products. Donations will be accepted all day — just look for the Gleaners truck parked in front of the store.

Customer Appreciation Day runs until 8 p.m., so bring your food donations to help fill the truck and enjoy the sales, samples, music and celebration!

Located at 203 W. Grand River Ave, The Heart of Michigan sells those items made only in Michigan, helping support businesses and families throughout the state.
