Each year The Salvation Army of Livingston County rings bells outside of Walmart, Kroger, VG’s, Walgreens and many other locations. As shoppers go in and out of the stores, they pass the sounds of laughter from children of all ages, adults with smiling faces and welcoming greetings and the feeling of love and hope that each kettle brings.

The Salvation Army CANNOT do it alone and are asking for your help. With December upon us and a little over 4 weeks of bell ringing remaining, The Salvation Army needs your help! We currently have a little over 3500 hours of bell ringing still available this Red Kettle Season and we are asking you to add The Salvation Army Bell Ringing to your holiday “to do” list.

The Red Kettle Season Fundraiser raises one third of The Salvation Army’s annual budget that helps to provide programming such as shelter, energy assistance, pantry food and much more. Without the help of individuals and organizations ringing bells, we cannot reach our much needed goal of $380,000.  An unmanned kettle is an empty kettle, please help!
