Home & Garden Show announces winners
The 2015 Livingston County Home & Garden Show — which included a popular butterfly exhibit, as well as a visit from Superman and Lois Lane — welcomed over 2,500 people to the Howell High School Field House from Friday, April 10, through Sunday, April 12, to see the latest and greatest in home improvement. The annual event’s major sponsor was Hartland Insurance Agency; the media sponsor was the Livingston Daily Press & Argus.
New to this year’s event was a “best-in-booth” contest. Winners of the contest were:
Best 10 x 10 — Vista Springs
Best 10 x 20 or larger — Lakeside Service Company
Best Balcony Booth — Woodcraft Design & Build
Best First-Time Exhibitor — Water’s Edge Dock and Hoist
“It was a great event,” said Home Show Coordinator Brenda Barone. “People seemed to really enjoy the new additions, and the vendors were pleased with the turnout.”
The Neighborhood Marketplace, which returned after its triumphant debut last year, was a popular stop for Home Show goers.
The popular Taste of Livingston crowned three crowd favorites that were visited by the most diners. Those winners were:
First Place: Hickory BBQ & Grill
Second Place: Jonna’s Market & Jonna’s 2 Go
Third place: Firehouse Subs
