Michigan Marketplace launches at Michigan Challenge Balloonfest
If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you; but if you seek Michigan-made products, look about the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest.
The Michigan Marketplace is a new attraction at balloonfest, June 27-29 at the Howell High School complex.
“At the Michigan Marketplace, guests can see and buy some of the best products in the state while they enjoy all the fun at balloonfest,” said Michelle Tokan, Michigan Challenge Director. “The marketplace complements the juried arts festival that has been part of the event for many years, and we’re hoping for a wide variety of vendors.”
The Michigan Challenge Balloonfest is the state championship of hot-air ballooning. The event features five scheduled balloon launches, skydiving, fireworks, a veterans ceremony, entertainment and family activities and attractions. The Michigan Challenge Balloonfest is hosted by the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce. Heart of Michigan sponsors the Michigan Marketplace.
