MIOSHA Respiratory Protection training set for April 23

An informative, full-day seminar for Part 451 – Respiratory Protection is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce building, 123 E. Washington St. in Howell.

The class is required for Occupational Health MTI certification. It is also a must for anyone concerned about health and safety on the job, including managers concerned about liability and workers’ compensation costs, employees who want to learn proper techniques for protecting their safety and health at work, and business owners who want to learn about complying with MIOSHA.

This full-day course will teach participants the requirements of Part 451, Respiratory Protection, the necessary elements of a written respiratory protection program, MIOSHA interpretations of common questions about the Respiratory Protection Standard, and the most common violations associated with the standard.

The seminar fee of $120 includes lunch and all course materials.
