MIOSHA Training: Creating a Positive Safety Culture set for May 6

“Creating a Positive Safety Culture” is a full-day MIOSHA Institute seminar for anyone concerned about health and safety on the job, including managers, employees and business owners.

The course will give you the knowledge and tools to understand what affects culture and how it affects safety. At the end of the day, you’ll be able to define organizational culture and its impact on performance, explain the affect of safety systems and other corporate systems on safety culture, and evaluate your organization’s safety culture.

The training is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce, 123 E. Washington St. in downtown Howell. Cost of $120 per person includes lunch and course materials. Certification/management points are available.
