October LegUP! is an all-day affair focused on ‘Entrepreneurial Success’
The LegUP! meeting, originally set for Wednesday, Oct. 9, has been changed to an all-day Entrepreneur’s Forum on Thursday, Oct. 10.
The annual Entrepreneur’s Forum runs 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Johnson Center at Cleary University, 3725 Cleary Drive in Howell. Tickets for the forum are $30.
The forum brings together business, academic and entrepreneurial leaders who, through personal experience, education and examples, help attendees identify, understand and navigate the various areas of entrepreneurship.
This year’s theme is “Entrepreneurial Success,” and the speakers include Paul Krutko, president and CEO of Ann Arbor SPARK; Rick Scofield of SCORE; Ann Holm, a brain science speciality; Sue Alderson, owner of Fountain of Youth; Pam McGoneghy, president and CEO of the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce; Nancy Johnson, of the Livingston County SBTDC; Austin Szelkowski, owner of Adept Marketing Solutions; Stewart Brannen, academic chair at CIE director at Cleary University; Larry Eiler, owner of Eiler Communications; and Robert Miller, WWII author, executive director of the George S. Patton Foundation, and the keynote speaker at the Livingston Economic Club luncheon, held in conjunction with the Entrepreneur’s Forum.
