Referral group informational meeting set for Feb. 24
Learn all about the power of referral groups in building your business at a meeting that begins at noon Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the Howell chamber, 123 E. Washington St. in downtown Howell. A pizza lunch will be served at this meeting, which will introduce you to the power of referral groups in growing your business.
There is no charge for this meeting, but RSVPs are appreciated for planning purposes.
The aim of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce referral groups is to build relationships, not mandatory referrals. Group members commit to each other’s success by passing along quality referrals and sharing business strategies.
Using referral marketing, the Howell chamber’s facilitated groups help people get good at the art of referral. The group provides leads they’ve warmed up, people who are already interested in a product or service. Because the referral group creates a high level of trust, it is like an extended sales team for members. The groups also cultivate an atmosphere of active listening, strong leadership and positive promotion of the community. Leaders in the groups are business owners or decision-makes who are usually the most successful in the area.
Howell referral groups provide small business professionals with the tools they need to grow by referrals, and it helps them learn to successfully network at any event.
Compared to other referral groups, the Howell chamber’s is a steal with a $25 one-time-only fee for members. People can also visit the groups for free.
