Summer in the City getting ready to celebrate its first decade of fun on Aug. 4
This year’s Summer in the City Business After Hours, hosted by Cobb-Hall Insurance, is celebrating 10 years of fun. The popular event will close out its first decade from 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, in Cobb-Hall’s courtyard at at 223 W. Grand River Ave., right in the heart of downtown Howell.
Chamber members and guests are invited to network and enjoy live music, drinks, hors d’oeuvres and refreshments outdoors, centered around the fountain and floral displays in the courtyard facing Grand River Avenue.
In addition to the annual gathering of chamber members for this always popular evening of fun, great food and refreshments, a unique and classic car exhibit on Center Street will delight auto buffs.
“This event is a wonderful way to keep the summer networking going,” said Pat Convery, chamber president. “It’s a wonderfully relaxed Business After Hours – no coat, no tie, no problem! Stop by after work and enjoy the refreshments and beautiful weather.”
There is no charge to attend. A rain date is planned for Thursday, Aug. 6. If needed, an email will be sent out to inform members of the change of date.
