Survey says: Members would recommend joining chamber to other businesses

survey graphicNearly 98 percent of chamber members responding to the 2016 survey said they’d suggest membership in the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce  to another business.

Survey respondents were asked to rank — from 1 (not likely) to 10 (very likely) – whether they would recommend membership in the Howell chamber to another business. The weighted average of the responses was 9.15, with nearly 98 percent saying they’d recommend membership.

“We appreciate the time members spent completing the survey,” said Pat Convery, president of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are pleased the results are overwhelmingly positive.”

Those respondents not choosing 10 (very likely) were asked what the chamber could do to get closer to a ranking of 10 in the future.

While most respondents expressed that they were pleased with chamber offerings, some of their suggestions to improve the chamber’s recommendation rating to a 10 included: more free events; more business referrals; and more after-hours events.

Overall, the responses were positive: “I see Chamber administration involvement in EVERYTHING,” wrote one member. “You are very high profile and you provide exceptional service.”

Paul Ganz of DTE was the lucky member winning $50 in Chamber Cash for completing his survey.
