The last brick was placed at the Howell Courthouse Amphitheater Dedication

Livingston County Commissioners Gary Childs and Carol Griffith acted as masters of ceremonies during the event, which caps the eight-month, $215,000 restoration project. The project added new stairs, railings and benches, as well as a new retaining wall and expanded seating area.

Though used for several community events throughout the year, the amphitheater is best known as home to the Friday night Concerts at the Courthouse summer music series sponsored by the Livingston Arts Council.
