Time to pipe up for Livingston Sensation

The popular Livingston Sensation singing contest, formerly presented by the Livingston Daily Press & Argus, moves to the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest.

Singers are invited to complete in two semi-final events to be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at Cleary’s Pub, 117 E. Grand River Ave. in downtown Howell, and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at Burroughs Roadhouse, 5311 Brighton Rd, Brighton. Contestants will be asked to sing 30 seconds of a song a capella. Participation is limited to the first 25 people at each event.

The finals will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest located at the Howell High School complex. The winner will receive a hot-air balloon ride.
