United Way hosting Spirit of Community breakfast
The Livingston County United Way’s is celebrating the Spirit of the Community at its 2016 annual meeting & volunteer recognition breakfast, Wednesday, March 23, beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center in Howell. The event celebrates the collaborative energy and partnerships that strengthen Livingston, will share the successes of the past year and future direction, and recognize exceptional leadership, volunteers and partners.
Dan Danosky, Livingston Educational Service Agency Superintendent and current United Way President, will host the fun, fast-paced event.
Several individuals and area youth will be recognized for their commitment to the United Way and outstanding service to the community. In addition one local business will receive the Randy Rudisill Business of the Year award, recognizing a local business that perpetuates Rudisill’s leadership, compassion, commitment to the community, and strong business acumen.
The other awards include the Donald Epley Lifetime Community Service Award, Charles W. Itsell Volunteer of the Year Award, and Youth of Distinction Award.
“There is much to celebrate in Livingston County and this event creates momentum for the work ahead of us,” Danosky said. “Please join us!”
