Unitedhealthcare plan participants to have access to care at all Saint Joseph Mercy Health System facilities
People enrolled in UnitedHealthcare’s employer-sponsored and individual health benefit plans will have access to care provided by St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Joseph Mercy Livingston beginning April 1.
The expanded network relationship means UnitedHealthcare plan participants will have access to Saint Joseph Mercy Health System’s six hospitals, outpatient health centers and urgent-care facilities, and more than 25 specialty centers.
“We are thrilled to be able to help expand access to care for those in the local community,” said Rob Casalou, president and CEO, St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and Livingston hospitals.
“UnitedHealthcare and Saint Joseph Mercy Health System look forward to strengthening our joint commitment to deliver broad access to quality health care for our customers in southeast Michigan,” said Wendy Arnone, CEO of UnitedHealthcare of Michigan. “Saint Joseph Mercy Health System is an important provider of health care services, and we know our customers in Livingston and Washtenaw counties will appreciate having access to their high level of care.”
