Wage & Benefits Survey results set for delivery at Sept. 24 event
An overview of the esults of the 2014 Livingston County Compensation & Benefits Trends Survey will be presented by Steve Williams, president of EctoHR, from 8-10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Howell chamber.
The cost of the presentation results is $10 per person and includes a continental breakfast.
The survey was coordinated by EctoHR in conjunction with the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The bi-annual survey collects information from Livingston County employers that isn’t available anywhere else, and it provides a comprehensive snapshot of the local employment landscape.
Williams will also present specialized industry information and occupational wage data along with a general economic overview. This specialized information was compiled by Mark Reffitt, an economic specialist with the Employment Projections Program of the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget, Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives.
“This survey arms local businesses with vitally important information,” said Kim Esper, membership director of the Howell chamber. “This information will be immediately useful in making important hiring decisions, setting compensation, and establishing benefits policies.”
Companies that completed the survey and included contact information will get a complimentary copy of the results, as well as two customized Payscale Compensation Benchmark reports for any two positions of their choosing, as a thank you for their participation.
The 2014 report, free to participating companies, will be available for $175 to those who do not.
The Howell Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation building is located at 123 E. Washington St. in downtown Howell. For more information or to RSVP, call 517.546.3920 or click here.
