The Howell Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new member benefit, a Chamber Speakers Bureau. We are fortunate to represent a vast wealth of knowledge across many industries and are seeking presenters/facilitators to share cutting-edge ideas, proven strategies for success and growth and to inspire enlightening discussions in the business community.

Your Chamber membership provides you with a great opportunity to connect, educate, and demonstrate your expertise on topics that are relevant and necessary to chamber members and the community at large. As Chamber members we acknowledge the importance of raising your business visibility, however as a member of the Speakers Bureau, self-promotion is not the objective.  It’s power is in sharing your knowledge and passion enabling your audience to fully benefit from your expertise and wealth of experience.

Please Note: The Speakers Bureau is accessible by and for our membership.  Submitting your application and participating in the Bureau is not a guarantee of speaking engagements.  Speakers and topics for Chamber or member events will be selected based on the purpose of the program/event and the relevancy to the current business climate and audience.

Professional business speakers must adhere to the following guidelines.

Presenters must…

• Own or be employed by a business/organization that is a current member of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce
• Have expertise/competencies in presentation topics
• Provide information in a practical and engaging format tailored to the audience including actionable items
• Allow for time to respond to questions and network with attendees pre/post event
• Provide unbiased information
• Agree to present irrespective of the number of people pre-registered or in actual attendance at event
• Refrain from making ‘sales pitches’ about a particular product or service
