The Howell Area Chamber of Commerce works in partnership with the Economic Development Council of Livingston County (EDCLC) to provide professional economic development capacity supporting businesses and communities throughout Livingston County.
Established in 1983, EDCLC has a longstanding mission to strengthen Livingston County’s economy through business retention, expansion, attraction, job creation and capital investment.
Today, the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce serves as EDCLC’s staffing and implementation partner, providing organizational leadership, professional staff, infrastructure and program capacity to advance this work.
This collaborative model brings together EDCLC’s countywide economic development mission and governance with the Chamber’s extensive business relationships, programs, staff and organizational infrastructure.
